Continuing Education for Physical Therapist: Get a Doctoral Degree!

If you have been interested in becoming a physical therapist for some time and have been looking into continuing education for clinical psychologist salary schooling, then you may be aware that it is almost as easy to get a Doctoral degree rather than a Masters degree with continuing education. It’s not that much harder regarding the content of the courses, but with a Doctoral degree you can earn a lot more money than a physical therapist with only a Masters degree. There are many benefits of getting a Doctoral degree although there’s nothing wrong with opting for the Master degree only.

There are many options for obtaining your schooling and qualifications for most medical fields, including average nurse salary. Among the options for a physical therapist is to take one additional year of schooling to obtain a doctoral degree. With a doctoral degree, it is easy to make more money and be more qualified in the eyes of the client and employers. You get a lot more recognition for your professional opinion. There is not that much more learning in the additional one year of schooling, but the additional pay that you may be getting can be a substantial difference. It’s a substantial difference to me and I quickly earned back my tuition and expenses for that one additional year of schooling.

I decided to go for the doctoral degree in physical therapy when I saw how much does a medical assistant make posted at the nearby college; it seemed most applicable to me at the time with my level of education and experience and it wasn’t enough to provide me what I want. Taking an extra year of schooling was no problem and I was interested in getting a better career. It was so simple and easy. I could not believe it! The brochures told me everything that I needed to know and I was more than happy to enroll in the classes.

I used to have a horrible job that I absolutely hated. I decided that instead of moping and whining about it, I would go look at continuing education for physical therapist and enjoy a whole new life altogether when I graduate.

 I saw the many different options that were available to me and I decided that since I was looking to improve myself, then I might as well aim high and go for the doctoral degree. I can hardly believe that I made such a big choice, but my future after graduating has been better than what I could have ever dreamed of. I am living in my dream world with the best job that I could have ever asked for. I get paid so much that I can go on vacations as often as I like. I am on my way to exploring the whole world. It has been an adventure so far! I love it!

At first I wondered if taking that one additional year of schooling instead of working was worth it. Now that I make so much money being a physical therapist with a Doctoral degree, I don’t regret my decision at all. The big thing was looking at the Registered Dietitian Salary  and their salary  to decide which. Sure, it would have been great to start working a year earlier, but what’s the difference of a year when I make so much more money now? I think it was probably one of the best decisions that I have ever made and I am definitely glad that I convinced myself to do it. If I hadn’t, I don’t know where I would be today.
